We can help you with NCEEC code compliance – duct testing and blower door testing is our specialty!

Dear HVAC contractor, builder, or General Contractor:

As you know, as of March 1, 2012, any new home permitted in the state of North Carolina must comply with the 2012 NCECC (North Carolina Energy Conservation Code), including mandatory duct testing and an optional blower door test to satisfy the air sealing and duct sealing requirements in the code.

Our company, Home Performance NC, is a full service energy efficiency services company and a weatherization contractor that is fully capable of assisting you with the mandatory duct testing and optional blower door testing as required from the code.

Normally, our testing services would cost $200 for the first system and $100 for each additional system, but to encourage you to use our services by offering you a special rate: $100/system, first or not.  Blower door tests are always free with duct testing; at Home Performance NC we want to give you as much information about the energy efficiency of the building as possible. We are also happy to offer discounts for multiple homes or systems if the testing can be performed on the same day.

Please let us know if we can work with you to help you meet the NCECC standards. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
